Your owners committee
The owners committee at Club Las Calas comprises:
- Mike West (centre)
- Ruth Skerry (second from right)
- John Graham (left)
- Vicki Keys (second from left)
- Harry Dunlop (right)
Mike West - chairman
Mike West has been on the committee since 2011 and is the committee elected chairman. Due to his wealth of experience and expertise in the construction industry, Mike is responsible, together with the resort manager and the rest of the committee, for overseeing all aspects of the resort’s building and development projects.
Mike can be emailed at email@example.com
End of current term: 2021
Ruth Skerry has been on the committee since 2013 and has responsibility for club communication. This was adopted following comments from members. Ruth works closely with Resort Solutions to keep the website and Las Calas Facebook page and Instagram profile up to date.
The policy is not to respond to specific comments made by owners on the Facebook/Instagram pages as they were developed to encourage new rental guests and owners to Club Las Calas.
If any owner has a specific query or concern on how the club is managed or the role of the committee then they should write directly to Ruth via the owners email address (firstname.lastname@example.org) who will share the correspondence with the rest of the committee and then respond accordingly.
Ruth has been an owner at Club Las Calas for 30 years.
Ruth can be emailed directly at email@example.com
End of current term: 2020
Vicki joined the committee in 2014. She has been visiting Club Las Calas since she was five years old, initially with her family and latterly in her own right. She is passionate about the club and works closely with the committee and on-site team to come up with ideas and suggestions to improve the guest experience of Las Calas.
Her experience as a long standing owner has been invaluable when considering the impact on owners of any decisions made. She also brings with her a background in finance ensuring she questions and challenges financial matters – extremely useful as the committee has responsibility for ensuring the finances are soundly managed on behalf of all owners.
End of current term: 2022
John Graham joined the Club Las Calas committee in 2018. He has been visiting the resort for the past 22 years and is the proud owner of seven timeshare weeks.
Back in the UK, John is Deputy Chief Executive and Executive Director of Finance at Royal Liverpool & Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust responsible for the Finance Function, Business Planning & Development, Procurement, PFI & Estates.
His experience and skills will be invaluable to the resort as we move forward.
John can be emailed at firstname.lastname@example.org
End of current term: 2023
Harry Dunlop was elected to the committee in June 2019. He brings a wealth of experience in project management, business finance and sales. Harry is currently the head performance coach at the Glasgow School of Sport. He has coached several Scottish national teams and assisted with GB squads working with Commonwealth and Olympic athletes.
He is a relatively new owner at Club Las Calas and believes he will be able to express the needs and views of new and potential members, influencing the sales strategies as we move forward. He is passionate about the Club and wants to give something back in return for the great experiences he has enjoyed so far and, is sure, will continue in the future.
Harry can be emailed at email@example.com
End of current term: 2024
