What is Club Las Calas

Club Las Calas is an independent holiday resort located in Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote, about 10-minutes from Playa Grande beach. The resort offers 145-one and two bedroom modern and fully equipped self-catering apartments located across four main areas (Club Las Calas 1, 2, 3 and Mimosa). The resort has been awarded a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence, an RCI Gold Crown and is a Dial An Exchange Resort of Excellence. It is rated 4.4* on Google and 4.8* on Facebook reviews.

Is the resort family friendly?

Yes, the resort is ideal for families. Younger guests can enjoy Charlie Bear’s Kids Club which runs throughout the year with even more activities over the school holidays. While older guests can take part in our great animation programme which has activities every day (except Thursday and Sunday).

Is Club Las Calas suitable for a couple’s holiday?

Yes, most of our family-focused activities take place in the large swimming pool in Club Las Calas 3 (except for our aqua aerobics). If you want peace and quiet to relax in the sun, then head for one of the other three pools on site.

Are there any bars or restaurants on site?

Yes, guests can enjoy our Skyline bar which opens for breakfast, snacks, drinks and lunch throughout the day and has happy hour and free entertainment every night. For those looking for dinner, head off to Bistro 361 in Club Las Calas 3 for great-value meals, specials, and superb service.

Am I able to use all four pool areas?

Yes, while each of the four areas has its own pool, guests can enjoy all four pools during their holiday.

How do I book my rental holiday at Club Las Calas?

There are two main ways to book your rental holiday at Club Las Calas. First, you can contact our UK-based team on +44 (0) 1858 431160 for the latest prices and availability. Alternatively, you can use our rental enquiry form and a member of the team will contact you.

Is the resort wheelchair accessible?

Yes, we have lifts and ramps across the resort so every area is accessible by guests. If you have any specific needs, then please let the team know at the time of booking and they will do their best to accommodate you. The resort is located on a hill above Puerto del Carmen so we advise using the local taxi service if you want to visit the town.

I want to self-cater, are there supermarkets in the local area?

Yes, there are a number of supermarkets in the local area as well as our own on-site mini-shop for essentials like bread, milk, water and snacks. Lidl is just a short distance away and is the cheapest place to shop on the island. The reception team can give you directions.

Do you have housekeeping services?

Yes, your apartment will be cleaned and towels changed (if you want) every Saturday. There will be second full clean and linen change on Tuesday. Guests staying for further weeks will have the next full clean and linen change on Friday and then again on Tuesday.

Can I only stay Thursday to Thursday?

The majority of our availability runs from Thursday to Thursday. However, we do have some limited availability for a Saturday changeover. Please ask for details at the time of booking.

How big are the apartments?

All our one-bedroom apartments sleep up to four people, while our two-bedroom apartments sleep up to six people and have two bathrooms (one en-suite).

What’s included in the rental charge?

The apartments are fully equipped with everything that you need for your self-catering holiday including a fully-fitted kitchen with fridge and microwave. Linen and towels are included and you can hire beach/pool towels during your stay.

Are there any other costs?

There are some additional charges for rental guests at Club Las Calas that we
would like to make you aware of before you arrive:
  • Refundable apartment deposit – €150 (payable by credit or debit card)
  • Utility fee – €25 per week
  • Suitcase storage (day of departure) – €0.50 per suitcase
Other charges are applicable if you are planning to use the on-site gym facilities or
would like to hire additional equipment.

How much does it cost to rent a week at Club Las Calas?

You can view our best rental rates here, but don’t forget to check our latest offers page on a regular basis, as we have some great special rental rates throughout the year.

Where can I park my hire car?

We have parking all around the resort with lots of entrance gates. When you arrive you can park outside reception to complete the check-in procedure. We can then explain the best place to park in relation to the apartment. You don’t need a permit.

Do you have a gym?

Yes, our newly refurbished gym is available to all our guests aged 16 and over. However, anyone using the gym aged 18 and under must be accompanied by an adult. The gym is available to on-site guests from 6am to 7pm. This is extended to 9pm during summer opening hours. There is a small charge for owners and guests to use the gym during their stay.
