Are you missing Club Las Calas posts?
If you’ve not been seeing all the Club Las Calas Facebook posts in your newsfeed recently, there’s a very good reason why.
Facebook has made some major changes to your newsfeed that will affect how you see Club Las Calas posts. The company thinks you want to see fewer posts from pages like us – and more from your family and friends.
We think this is harsh as many of our owners view Club Las Calas and the resort team as family. They return to the resort every year (sometimes more than once a year), because they love the Club Las Calas and want to know what’s going on when they are not there.
Zuckerberg said, “I’m changing the goal I give our product teams from focusing on helping you find relevant content to helping you have more meaningful social interactions.”
“At its best, Facebook has always been about personal connections. By focusing on bringing people closer together.”
So, they have made changes to their system and it might mean you won’t see all of the Club Las Calas posts in your feed.
Don’t panic! We aren’t!
We will continue to post on Facebook every day and share images, news and video, but you might need to do a little more to see them.
Here’s what to do:
Please visit our Facebook page, click on the ‘Following‘ button at the top and select ‘See First’.
Also, when you read something you like, add a comment or a sticker and engage with us. You know we don’t bite! This shows Facebook that we are posting content that you and other followers like to read and they should then make it visible to more people.
At the moment, we think these two actions will mean you’ll see our posts in your newsfeed – but keep checking back here in case things change again.
You can also keep in touch with us via our other social media platforms including:
Please continue to support the resort team and the committee and make the changes to your account now. It’s just a couple of clicks but it will make all the difference.
